Received 2 Bachelor's Degrees from UT Martin (Business-Economics 1986; Arts & Sciences-Biology 1988) and a Master's Degree (Entomology) from U.T. Knoxville in 1991. I have worked for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture since September of 1991, working in the Division of Regulatory Services, Plant Certification Section. I am a member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.

I was a student at Dickson County Senior High School for my last two years of high school, having moved from Greenfield, Tennessee.
