Beth Sams Been

Beth Been lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, Beau Been. Beth owns a web/print design company - GrooveeFortune.com and Beau owns a catering company - TravelingBistroAustin.com. Together they have created HouseofBeen.com and you can read Beth's Blog at grooveefortune.wordpress.com.

Beth served as the Hook Em mascot and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1993 with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She attended the University of Jordan in Amman and has traveled to Israel, Syria, Mexico, Jordan, Italy, Spain, Holland, etc. Beth and Beau were married in Vernaza, Italy in 2004.

The Beens love to travel, take photos, listen to music and hang out with family and friends. Beth was the Scarlot Harlot for many years in the Texas Rollergirls and won Best Local Web Designer in the Austin Chronicle 2005.
