Wyatt, James View/Sign Guest Book On March 23, 2009, at the Southside Regional Medical Center, Mr. James "Bubba" Wyatt, 39, of Dinwiddie County, Va., after a long period of declining health, entered into eternal rest and peace. He was born Aug. 26, 1969. He was educated in the Dinwiddie County School System. He was also employed with Browders Towing, Dinwiddie. "Bubba," as he was affectionately called, was an avid race track fan and a member of the Dinwiddie Hunt Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and father, Elsie V. Wyatt and James "Jimmy" Ellis; two sons, Jamar A. Winfield and Demorris Wyatt; one sister, Vivian Wyatt; aunts, Gertrude Morgan, Vivian Prosise, Dorothy M. Wyatt, and Narvenia Jones (Larmon), Jean Myrick, Audrice Brown, Barbara Winfield, Beatrice Jordan, Dorothy B. Wyatt, Gloria Wyatt, Ida Wyatt and Flossie Wyatt; six uncles, General Wyatt, Talmage Wyatt, Melvin Ellis, George Ellis, William Ellis and Fredrick Ellis; a devoted niece and nephew, Ebony Goode and Charod Goode; a host of devoted cousins, Michael Wyatt, Roderick Edwards, Anthony "Buck" Wyatt, Wade Wyatt, Anthony "Skitter" Wyatt, Nikki and Pheobe Wyatt; devoted friends, Jean Fields, Don "Zeek" Morgan; and Bubba's devoted friends and employers, Jerry and Barbara Browder.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. Bernard Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at his residence, 2714 Oakhill Road, Petersburg, and at the residence of his aunt, Vivian Prosise, 2333 Fort Lee Road, Petersburg. The family will assemble at noon at the residence of Billy Wyatt, 17122 Epps Road, DeWitt, for the procession.
