Shane was definitely one of a kind. I guess that's why God took him at such a young age. This world was too cruel for such an angel. I met him in the 3rd grade at Northside Elementary in Mrs. Evans class. He was my second "boyfriend" (John Pritchett was my first!!). Although he was just a boy at that time, he embodied so much wisdom and knowledge. Our friendship grew over the years - we never quite got the "relationship" thing right, but I can truly say Shane taught me more about love, kindness, and honesty than any adult man ever has!! He was truly my BEST FRIEND! I miss him dearly. There's definitely a special place in my heart that he will occupy forever. My only regret is that we had grown apart during his last year of life, but I will forever cherish the time we shared.

Not a doubt in my mind the man was one the greatest souls to ever cross my path. I think of him and smile, he could do anything he set his mind too and never thought twice in lending a hand to a friend . Shane has been greatly missed ..... See ya on the other side brother

I first met Shane in the fall of our 8th grade year at DCJHS. I never knew him ever be anthing other than a good soul. I never heard one bad thing said about Shane...and that was for good reason.

Shane, you have already been missed and will forever be...We love you Man! Be seeing you...

Our time spent on that extremely long bus ride to school was always made that much better when Shane got on. He was always facinated with how I got those lines in my feathered hair! "Lots of hair spray", I used to tell him but somehow he was always facinated by it. A truely awesome heart he was and will always be remembered for that! I still miss him and wonder what he would have been today.

Shane was the perfect gentleman. The most memorable moment that I can think of was when Shane was suppose to keep the secret of who had won the title of Miss DCJHS; but I was so nervous about it, Shane decided to tell me just before the cars were to enter the football field that I had won. That was just the kind of friend he was. Still missing you.

Shane was one of the nicest people I have ever met and although we only knew each other for a short time, I am blessed to have had the pleasure to call him my friend. There is no doubt in my mind that if he had lived, he would have done amazing things with his life and who knows, he may be doing amazing things in the after life. See ya on the other side Shane.

Shane...I still think of him occasionally to this day. I had the biggest crush on him in the 7th grade. He had the sweetest smile and the kindest heart. He always treated everyone with respect and kindness. My heart broke the moment I was told he had been taken away from us forever. There are just some people you never forget and he is truly unforgetful. I remember his Prince performances in the talent shows too. He always threw out roses sprayed with his cologne. I think all the girls had a school girl crush on him. Shane was truly an original and a trend setter...You are missed!

Shane was a wonderful person I do not think there was anyone he did not like. And to my knowledge I dont think there was anyone who did not like him. He had that wonderful smile and friendly personality that everyone loved. We all lost a true friend when we lost Shane.
Miss Ya Shane!!!!
