Hi, Everyone. I want to thank all my former TR-Track Team mates and my former TR Gymnastic Team Mates. During a time when racial equality was not on the top on the scale you all made life a lot more bearable for me. During a Gymnastics Competition when a former team mate, Bob Nolan, announced my name to those in attendance, after announcing my name also said; "Next up on the HI-Bar, Cecil Robinson - Not Bad For A Nigger". Yes, it hurt. But, so many of my other team mates including Coach Frank (Francis) Walsh, Coach Moline, and Coach Bauer, stood up for me, reassuring that his comment was not appropriate. Coach Walsh even took the microphone from Bob and told the audience that this was not the what TR Gymnastic was all about. :-) But my TR Track team mates. Nothing but love for all of you! You all will forever be in my heart. I've continued to compete in track events in the Police Olympics and currently hold the record in the senior division for the Pole Vault in the state of California...8', Ha, Ha,.. I took an opening height low due to a pulled hamstring which I tore and retore while training for this competion. I've passed on my experience which I will forever be greatful to My Track Coachs for inspiring me to continue. I appologize to all of you for not attending the reunions, and I will make it to the next function.
