I tried the email direct option, especially re: political discussions and it just didn't work. Some of us (whom shall remain nameless) like the reaction of a larger "forum."

Speaking of my kids' vacation, it's girls week here in Fredericksburg! My hubby and son left yesterday for Sweden (yeah, I mean, boo, hoo!!! LOL!!!!) It's just Emma and me for 9 glorious days. Right now, I have already started happy hour with ... well ... me and Emma. Except Emma's idea of happy hour is making cupcakes with her new cupcake maker. I pretend to help in between drinking a few Coronas!
During the week we will visit my mom, who has moved to Columbia, MD, and next weekend we are hoping to go to >>>>>>>>> visit Mary Cosman in Eau Claire, WI!!! If, Mary's family is not visiting, and if we can find decent tickets!

Just got back from the Gospel Brunch at the Chicago House of Blues. Two of my kids are in the high school's CommUNITY choir that features world music - with an emphasis on gospel. They were the performers there. WOW - so amazing!!!
CHERIE, I did not lie, I really was there but I did not know they were in the VIP room. I did not even know they had a VIP room..Plus I felt it would be a safe bet to find them at the bar....lol
