too funny. Facebook for girls. Probably true. How old is your daughter now? My oldest was on a time out the other day cause he was speaking rather snotty to me as he thought I was setting up a game wrong and he knew better. Taking him out of the time out, I told him I didn't appreciate his tone being so disrespectful. To which he replied, I know, but I was mad cause you weren't listening to me. And I am growing up, ya know, mom.(as if age gives him the right to speak to me in any tone he chooses) But too funny, cause he is growing up and does have opinions. Guess I am gonna have to come to that realization. Where does the time go ya know?

Just checked to see what is going on. It is pitiful. We are all on facebook and Bill Port is right. My computer has more little "glitches" on it since facebooking. Nothing major, but waiting for the ball to drop... still it is a bit addictive. But not the same as the forum at all. The intimacy, the comaradarie, the kinship is gone forever. We must mourn its demise untill the 25th reunion puts new life into the forum.

i can't get facebook at work and when i get home i don't have time to be on the computer. I enjoy this site so much more. I don't care if someone is watching TV, picking thier nose, going to the store etc. I see Soups rants and they loose thier luster on facebook with out MJ responding. Just think this time last year this site was rocking now it is snoozing. I guess we'll just have to wait for our 30th.

I recently sent Mary a message (YES, VIA FACEBOOK) about missing Chainsaw (and you too, Phil M.). While last year was a blast texting thru the TR'83 website, it's time to move on, ya'all! Al K., you gotta get on Facebook, cuz I miss your comments! It was so awesome to see you at Kobie's and I don't want to lose touch. SO GET WITH DA PROGRAM, AT GET ON FACEBOOK NOW. Phil, while I know you're on Facebook, start sending messages!

BTW, for whoever wants to come out to VA for Halloween (actually the weekend before Halloween) Michelle Maart and her kids are coming to visit us for 5 days. We plan on having a Halloween Party sometime that weekend and would love for any other TR alums to come. Please let us know!

In case anyone is still here - I am hostessing a Thornridge/Dolton reunion in San Francisco-Union Square Neighborhood on Friday September 18.

So far Carrie Radovich, Kit Bay, Jim Jorgensen, David Hooi, Denise McGovern, Jim Fulmer ('81) and possibly Nirvana Freeburn and Jim Denny (Thornwood) are attending.

Anyone who knows a West coast transplant, let me know via facebook so I can give out the details.

I am planning on D.C. at MJ's (with Michelle Maart)!! for All Hallows Eve, then of course back to Hotlanta to visit Robin in early November!!

Late November - Maybe time for another TR/Dolton reunion at the Northside in Indiana?

Looks like Christmas in Cabo this year! Who is in ?
