I met my husband George and moved to Los Angeles where we raised our 3 wonderful boys for 15 years. LA was great and I was fortunate to be able to stay at home and spend time with my kids, who are now 23, 21 and 17. My time was spent mostly at baseball games, football games and wrestling tournaments.....Oh..and the beach. We moved to Oregon in 2001 and are still not used to the rain...ugh! For the last several years, I have been focused on helping my son Joey recover from a traumatic brain injury he suffered as a result of a car accident in 2005 when he was 17. He was on the way home from qualifying for a national wrestling tournament and fell asleep at the wheel. The accident nearly ended his life and definitely ended his wrestling career, but he has worked hard to recover and is doing well. It has been a long journey....I work in a dental office for Kaiser Permanente and spend my free time riding my bicycle & spinning and knitting my own yarn. My boys are all grown up now....Brian and Joey are living on their own. My youngest, Stephen is graduating from high school in June and plans to join the United States Marine Corps. I have 3 dogs, a retired Greyhound named Joe, a Jack Russell named Tinker, and a Yorkie we like to call Big Head Ted....and a cat named Krickett. I am lucky...life is good.
