The only class I ever had with Ron was gym class under the watchful eyes of Coach McAlvey.  I can still hear Coach Mac during "jumping jacks:".  "Doodeman, start over.  Doodeman, again.  Doodeman! Again." Ron's JJs were masterfully non- kinetic. Finally, Coach Mac would concede the obvious, and harass some other unfortunate non-athlete.

Bernie and I shared a great love of the Chicago White Sox.  He was a true "baseball junkie."  Knew stats and could endlessly discourse  about MLB.

Sad to hear another "good guy" is gone.
