I remarried in 2009. I met Joyce on Match.Com & we now live in a quaint little town Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We have 12 grandchildren between us to love & spoil! I retired in 2002 & was a consultant to the mining industry until 2005. Joyce retired last yr. as Nordstom's mgr. of lady's fashion/design. We spend winters in Naple's FL. & summers with friends and grandchildren. Love weekend trips, golf, antiquing, gardening, exercising, movies.
How about waking up in Paul Topea's Dormont home basement after our (62) graduation party (sooo many beers) & going up stairs to the kitchen & seeing his grandmother who spoke broken English (Paul wasn't even home) & she didn't know I was in the basement. She got scared & called the police. I should have gone to law school after my explanation as to who I was & how I got there!!! WOW!!
How about Keith Clark finally borrowing his dads treasured Caddy (after numerous requests) & taking dates to S. Park Drive Inn Movie. On the way home we stopped at Betto's Pizza on Banksville Rd. & as Murphry's Law would have it Keith backed into a concrete pier & put a "huge" dent in the Caddy bumper. We spent a lot of time working on an excuse for his dad but that was the last trip in the Caddy that summer!!!
I remember a scary late pm "thrill ride" with Richie Thompson to Bon Aire Golf Course where he did figure eights on several putting greens. My memory is a little foggy but I think Keith Clark, Ted Aiken & Walter Buchagan were also members of that fatefull excursion!!!! Thank the lord we never played golf there again.
