I went to college directly out of high school and did not finish as I thought that being married and having kids was the thing for me to do. Turns out, I should have finished college then instead of now, but hindsight is 20/20. Now I am back in school to get my nursing degree and will start classes and clinicals when I go back on September 30th, 2009.
I don't have just one, but my senior year was pretty great and I think that one of my favorite memories was when the football team beat McEachern. I enjoyed life at Alexander for the most part...there were some people who were decidedly not nice, but I have grown up since then and don't hold it against them anymore!!
Well...I really don't like to focus on the bad memories, but there are a few people who took great pleasure in making me feel like less than I was. They know who they are and I don't need to name names on here! It's water under the bridge now! :)
I quit college much to the dismay of my parents and I got married, again to the dismay of my parents...not because they didn't like my husband, but because I didn't finish college first. Once again, hindsight is 20/20!
I love meeting new people and catching up with old friends/acquaintances from high school! I have learned to be more outgoing the older I have gotten and that really helps when you are trying to meet new people or catch up with some others!
I have never been outside of the US. I would love to go to Australia, England, Bermuda, Ireland or any number of other places and maybe one day I will get the opportunity to travel the world!
Did you go to the 20-Year Reunion? What were your favorite memories? Any stories to share?
I didn't make it to the reunion. I really wanted to go, but ended up not being able to make it! I loved the pictures and it looked like everyone had a fantastic time!
