I was in the real estate/mortgage business for the last 15 years, but got out just in time. I love my job with MGS Propane. I married my soul mate Orville Carney in 2002. We have been together since 1999. We do not have any children, except our animals. 2 dogs - Asa and Ginger Snap Carney and 2 cats - Dallas and Cowboy Carney. Can you tell Orville likes the Cowboys...I am the new Mayor of Magnolia, which I love - have gotten a great response from the residents. They are glad to have someone that wants to make things better. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Milford Senior Center. Orville and I started our own catering business called "An Affair To Remember" by The Carney's. We are doing great. We have done weddings, birthday parties, company meetings, class reunions, BBQ's, holiday parties, personal chef services and much more. I also make Chicken Salad and sell it at Pleasanton Seafood, it was my mother's famous dish. We also sell Pampered Chef and Avon. I lost my mother in 2003 to Breast Cancer and my father to a Heart Attack in 2005. Orville lost his mother in Jan 2009 to a Lung problem - but besides dealing with all that, which is very hard sometimes, but we are doing great. All in all we are doing good. We have a great family and close friends that help make life a joy.
