Unfortunately I have a business trip that requires me to travel on Sunday AM from Md. and prevents me from attending, I hope everyone has a great time, please post pictures!! If something changes I'll reach out to Patty and see if I can still get in, enjoy all!

I, too, will not be attending, but will be there in spirit!  I hope you all have a wonderful time and look forward to any pictures that folks can share.  Thanks to Patty, and Randy, and Enid, and all who worked so hard on getting this together, and a big thanks to all of you who made life even brighter in High School (and Elementary, for that matter!).   All the best, Linda Pristera

Hello Class of '73!

What a great time we had last night at our reunion, as well as the nice breakfast this morning!  All of the pictures that my wife Becky took are now here on our site.  I had originally posted them under my name or something like that, which was a real pain.....finally I figured out (with Patty's help) how to post them for everyone to see.  And feel free to post your photos too!   Enjoy!!

Randy

I also want to thank Patty and all her crew for a lovely evening at Picatinny Arsenal with the best people in the world.  It never gets old being with you all since...it was such an inspirational time for me... at a time when we were most vulnerable and sensitive to all that was around us.

I am what High School was to me and you were a great part of that.

Abrazos a todos.

¡Felicidades!!

PS did you all know Coach Valentine inaugurated the Dover High School "HALL OF FAME" back in the late 90s?

After seeing all those fantastic smiles I too am sorry I missed the party. Thank you all who have posted pictures, keep them coming if possible! I understand donations were made to keep this website going. Patty, maybe you can post something to let us know how we can contribute, I really enjoy visiting here and catching up with what everyone is doing. Thank you, along with Enid and Randy, for all you have done.

Our cheerful and carefree Dover High Class of '73 brother Paul Arico passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Paul is, was, and always will be a good friend, and he will be greatly missed.  His obituary can be read at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/dailyrecord/obituary.aspx?n=paul-francis-arico&pid=168979383&fhid=17101.

Re: Reunion, The last one (I missed) was held in September?  I think that would be a good time to have it again.  The Randolph Diner did the reunion for my sister's reunion recently.  I guess it was okay - no idea of pricing - she did not have a part in planning it.  I have every intention of going to this one.....  can't wait!

Gloria,

The next reunion will be next year. We are trying to determine a date and venue. You can post your suggestions here.

I would definitely check the Randolph diner's capacity upstairs and the old  New Orleans steakhouse which I think is Taphouse or something on that order but maybe somebody up there knows how it is

Almost forgot, my brother just said something about the Cinders in Mine Hill

Its been too long since I've lived in NJ to give good advise.   BUT If you're interested in having it in the Cocoa Beach area / East coast of FLorida!!....I'll help cheeky.

AND I have room for at least 6-8 people to stay with me wink   ----Deb

I agree with Debbie, if you want to have it in Florida, there are a bunch of us that would help...wink

@ Debbie x 2, Florida is the 2nd most populated state of 1973 Dover graduates. I am all for travel. laugh

@ Louis, Thank you for your suggestions. I do have those 2 locations on my list of possibilities to check on.

yes

Enid Waxler (McDonough)

Hey all!  I am excited for this.  If everyone would go to Florida, I'm totally in!

As far as location, Cinders in Mine Hill is a favorite of mine.  I've eaten there many times when I visit my parents, but I suspect it will be more expensive than other options.  Last reports on the Randolph Diner is that the atmosphere is great but the food is shakey.

There is a new Tapas place in the middle of Dover on Blackwell Street (how cool is that?) that is excellent.  Not sure if they will do private parties.  Called "Six West Bar and Grill."  Any interest?

Picatinny shoud remain an option as it is relatively low cost.  Other ideas?  And we need a date.  I suggest sometime in May or early June before vacations kick in.  Saturday night?  May 19?  June 2 or June 9?  Let's lock down a date so we can lock in a forum.

Reach out to everyone you know from Dover '73.

I personally like September of next year because there is a possibility that either in May or June I will be in Bora-Bora  but whatever the consensus says is good by  me ,  if I am here I will go

Hey all....as much as I love living in Florida, I would much rather go the the 'homeland' for a reunion, since it's where our roots are.  But of course, I'm up for whatever....I just want to see everyone!! After having talkied with a rep from Mineral Springs, Vernon NJ (where the Class of '75 had an outdoor barbecue for their 35th reunion) I was supposed to be getting an email from them with more info, but they obviously forgot....I'll get back in touch with them.  As I said to Patty previously, I'm all for keeping it simple, relaxed, and outside (under a shelter) if possible - again, I just want an excuse to hang out with everyone!  This place was so relaxing......Randy
