Just my 2 cent thought from 110 degree AZ.  The NJ trip for me in September would be great but I think I can get to Florida cheaper ... so I am open to both.  I do like September better though after all of the vacations happened. And I like Randy's idea of easy going and relaxing.  Re the food at Randolph Diner being shaky - how much food did everyone really eat at the last reunion?  If the price is right for wherever, we should go with it wanting to make is affordable for all to attend.  ....... People did eat at the last reunion, and I agree.  It should be affordable, but enough space to socialize and talk.  Picatinny was perfect in that regard.

As for dates, thoughts on September 9, 16 or 23?  30th is a major Jewish holiday.

Thoughts everyone?  th 16th?

Hey guys, time for my two cents..Very sorry I missed last reunion but had family member in hospice and sister Rosemary passed away shortly after. Anyway, for my own selfish reasons I would lean on doing reunion in N.J. as I still have family and friends living there I would like to visit..I am currently living in Georgia

September 16 sounds good to me.  Gloria, how is Alvaro?

I'm ok with either, although I would prefer NJ as well with family still there.  Sep 16th sounds great for a time but am open to other dates as well..

September 16 sounds great but I think an indoor venue is best because then you do not have to worry about weather, just my opinion

Whew!  I panicked for a second when I saw the date September 16th because Becky and I are cruising to Cuba for our 40th then, but I realized that we're talking about 9/16/18 and not this September!!  I'm open to whatever the gang decide.....but I long to visit Jersey.....indoors/outdoors - fine with me....I just like the relaxed atmosphere of an autumnal day under a pavilon eating barbecue!!

OK EVERYONE!

VOTING TIME!

September 16, 2018: yes or no!

NJ (Dover area):  That ok? yes or no! (FYI I vote for Dover.  We can see our other friends and family on the trip)

Indoor venue or outdoor venue?  (FYI I vote for indoor.  Music, nice clothes, no rain or bugs.)

I agree that September is a good time to have the reunion. I also like the 16th, the middle of the month. I set the deadline for input as July 8th. Let's wait until then and see if any others post their thoughts. Over 100 classmates are registered and only a handful have written into the forum.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again where we started our adult life - NJ. Picatinny was really nice and it was great to see everyone that was able to attend.

Sept.16th sounds wonderful, I vote indoors and of course Dover,NJ. still have friends and some family there. Yes and make it affordable so more can attend and have some fun.

Gloria,

The high school would be great, however, no alcohol would be permitted.

Thanks Delores.  New Jersey would be more convenient for me. I work for a school district and September is when we are getting started.

Sepember 16th is great..Patty, I like the July 8 input deadline..I'm still in contact with a number of our old classmates and there are a bunch that don't use computers. I'll start spreading the word

James, it will be wonderful if you can spread the news. If they think they might be interested in attending and do not have email, send me their snail mail address and I will do my best to keep them informed.

As for venues, I have downloaded Piccatinny's banquet packet, Cinders party menu, and Randoph Diner's party menu. Comparing just the food alone for a dinner buffet, Cinders charges $41.99 pp; Randolph Diner $35.95; and Piccatinny's most expensive buffet is $22 pp. When you start adding on other services, the prices can only go up.

OK Patty.  I'll be in touch. In terms of food, I'll go with the consensus..I'm more interested in seeing people again...Also, congratulations on your retirement

How about Trump National Golf Club Bedminster; 900 Lamington Road, Bedminster, NJ 07921. HaHa, LMAO!

I'm good with Sep 18, 2018, in NJ and especially indoors.  I've become really appreciative of air conditioning lately (Wash DC will hit 98 degrees today) and staying dry is always a plus (80% humidity).  :-)

Ok everyone!  September 16, 2018 it is.  Dust off your wheel chairs.

Open to suggestions, but as per Patty's research, Picattiny is the most cost efficient for an indoor venue.  I am inclined to book that, but am very open to ideas.

Keep posting.  Also please send the class website like to everyone you know.  I have a bunch of responses on Facebook, but I would prefer to get us all on one page, so to speak.

Send any ideas you have!

Hello To Everyone!

Since I did not attend the last or any reunion, I do not have much to say.  I will be glad to see everyone, I will be happy to eat anything and will be happy to be anywhere the group decides.  The date is fine with me as I do plan on being in attendance.  Although I am in favor of being inside and getting the most 'bang for our buck', I will go along with the majority.  Keep me informed...Fran
