When: Open to discussion,,,,,,,,,suggested: before or after hurricane season (November to March). Year 2011.

Theme: suggested: "Club (Cruise) No Place" in honor of Jerri Border!

Who is interested????????????? Let me know!! I am serious about this!! I experienced such a warm, rewarding feeling from being together and reconnecting with all of those in attendance at the reunion that I have decided to take this thought by the horns and go with it!!

A 3-4 day cruise would be great fun!!! I'm in! We do want to keep in mind not from September thru Thanksgiving. This is Hurricane season. Maybe to the Bahamas!! Keep me posted!!!

HERE IT IS! THE CRUISE!

December 4, 2010 for 5 days on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Ports of call: Grand Cayman Islands and Cozymel. Leaving out of Fort Lauderdale.

We will be going to "Stingray City" ( boating out to a reef in the Caribbean and feeding the stingrays! We'll swim with them too!

Cost: double occupancy cabin & all inclusive meals = $399.00
Adding one cost for all tips, disembarkment fees & taxes = about $499.

Trip to Stingray city about $75.00.

Provide own transportation to and from Fort Lauderdale and to Port of Fort Lauderdale to embark on ship.

My cousin is a cruise line travel agent. This time line for cruising is the least expensive of the season so I picked December instead of January-April when the prices go up at least $150.

After we have confirmed participants, my cousin will barter with the cruise line for free additions.

The cruise idea sound great but many of us are teachers and can't go in early December. Only summer or Christmas or Thanksgiving.

count me out for the cruise, I signed up to go back to college for the next 2 years. maybe if you plan another trip sometime I will make it. thanks! kathy
