Rebecca Bates Drewry

Alan and I live in Dresden and I teach at Dresden Middle School. This is my first year at Dresden. I have been teaching in Martin since 2003. I have seen some familiar faces, in my classes, and have been blown out of the water that I'm old enough to have children that I went to school with their parents! (We are really not this old, are we?) I completed my Master's in Instruction and Admin. in 2007 and I am proud to say that for the first time since kindergarten that I am not a student any longer, now just a teacher.

Alan and I do not have children, but we hope to someday if God allows. We are enjoying married life and our families....I must not forget our sweet dog, Mae. She is a black lab and the sweetest dog ever. I never thought I would be a dog lover, but life is full of surprises!!

Although I'm tickeled to be out of high school and college...most everyday of high school has a funny story attached. And most were a blast. There's hardly a day that I can recall that is some shape or fashion could not bring a smile to my face....whether good or well....just funny looking back. Lots of life lessons I learned during those four years of my life.
