Worked as nurse 35 plus years in Erie; Raised my children; started back to Gannon University in mid 1980's for bachelor's degree. Left Erie in 1994 to move back to DuBois to take care of my Dad when he was diagnosed with cancer. When he died, I worked for a psychiatrist in DuBois until the doctor retired. Moved back to Erie in 2008. Really enjoy using this website to stay in touch. Not really a facebook/twitter fan. Mom passed away in 2012. Moved back to

I can think of many, but I can't believe we belonged to clubs like Q.O.Z. and carried cups with ribbons. I spent many long hours on the cement on corner of Brady and Long Ave. on my hands and knees saying "QOZ-59". You all remember this, I know you do. That stood for Queens of Zest, by the way. I will always fondly remember cheerleading, and football games, and walking back and forth to school in blinding snowstorms and icestorms - skating down the hills on my butt. But one of the things I remember the most is walking everywhere and being safe. So much different than now a days. Life was much more sane and simple than now.
