Jerry Ray Ward, age 61 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born August 5, 1959 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Charlie & Velma Nunn Ward.
Jerry was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during Operation Desert Storm.
He is survived by his
 Daughter – Shannon Michelle Ward – Charlotte, NC
Mother – Shirley Ann Clark Ward – Cleveland, GA
Brothers – Larry Blanton – Radford, Debbie Blanton – Radford, Charles Jeff Ward, NC, Brian Kelly Ward – GA
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Chaplain Bobby Ward officiating. Interment will follow at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin where he will receive full military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time Monday at the Funeral Home.

I am so very sad to see the news of Jerry's pasing. I knew he had been dealing with cancer but wasn't aware of his level of sickness. Jerry was a wonderful friend whom we got to reconnect with after graduatng . We had many wonderful times @ PCHS and most often in building trades class under Grady Youngs teaching.
I am so proud of Jerry sharing his faith through social media and being able to communicate with him.
I will miss you ol' friend until we meet again.
