I attended Mount Saint Claire College in Clinton, Iowa in 1970 and 1971. I was boarding with a wonderful older lady whose husband had passed recently. Georgia was attending the University of Northern Iowa to become a teacher. She chose Clinton to do her student teaching. She stayed with us for that semester. She was offered a permanent job with the Clinton Schools as an elementary education teacher. She met Bob and they had one daughter. Georgia was a diabetic and the disease eventually took her life. It was so great to re-connect with her and we had kept in touch with one another for many years.

I remember Georgia as always being happy and freindly to everyone. She always had a smile.
