Daniel F. Tuthill Sr., 61, of 1238 Jackson St., died at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday.

He was born on Oct. 31, 1947, in Dubuque, son of Donald Francis and June (Rosacker) Tuthill.

He worked for A-OK Yellow Cab Co. for several years.

Dan enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Meskwaki Casino.

Surviving are his girlfriend, Debbie Richardson, of Dubuque; three children, Lynn (friend, Dave) Tuthill, Danny (Kathy) Tuthill and Kim Tuthill, all of Dubuque; two grandchildren, Katilin and Adin Tuthill; brothers and sisters, Richard (friend, Betty) Tuthill, Sharon (Jack) Armbruster, Joyce Terris, Cynthia Key, James (Lucinda) Tuthill and Patricia Wernimont, all of Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael Tuthill.
A Daniel F. Tuthill Sr. Memorial Fund has been established.
