EAGAN, Minn. -- Joanne Purrington, 63, of Eagan, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at St. John Nuemann Catholic Church, Eagan. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Surviving are her husband, Barry; daughter, Elena; siblings, Ruth Welter and Jim (Mary) Welter; 10 nieces and nephews; and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Welter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to MOCA (MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance).
