Karen Florence Buckley Lloyd died quietly at home, Saturday, March 23, 2013.  She lost her hard fought battle with cancer; however her spirit stayed strong to the very end.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Knepper officiating.

Karen was burn July 21, 1948 in Dubuque, dauther of Homer and Florence (Rohrbach) Budkley.  She married Dwight Lloyd, Jr. at Holy Ghost Church April 29, 1970.  Karen graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1966.

Surviving are her husband, Dwight; her daugher Jennifer (Adam) Schope; sons Chris, Doug and Mike Lloyd; grandchildren Dane, Tate and Reid Schope; sisters Paula (Art) Roling, Lea Sullivan, and Mary Luedtke; and many nieces and nephews.
