Master Sgt. (Ret.) David F. Kutsch of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, succumbed to cancer at home on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Services were held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

Dave was in the Air Force for 22 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  After retiring from the USAF he worked for the FAA as an air traffic controller at the Birmingham International Airport for 11 years, retiring in 2000.  He enjoyed mechanic work and rebuilding cars, fast pitch softball, and the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

Dave had rock-solid values and passed those on to his children.  Surviving are his sons Jeremy and David Kutsch; daughter-in-law Janet C. Kutsch and grandson Tyson Al. Kutsch; sister Barbara Trierweiler and brothers Thomas, Richard, Patrick, Michael, Robert and many nieces and nephews.
