David R. Reno, 66, of Dubuque passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family.  David was born on January 2, 1948.  He was a self-employed mason for 37 years.  For the last four years he was employed at the Diamond Jo as a Table games Dealer.

Dave was quite the renaissance man - he played sax and piano, enjoyed playing chess,lifting weights, wrestling, reading, nature walks, cooking and gardening.  He received many "Best In Show" ribbons for his flowers and he developed his own line of lilies.

Dave was a big guy with a big heart.  He was a loving and loyal husband and stepfather.  He is survived by his wife, Rose, three stepdaughters, and 7 step-grandchildren.
