Sister Othmar (Margaret May) was born February 16, 1926 and departed this life January 4, 2001, in the 56th year of her Religious life.  Sister Margaret entered Mount St. Francis August 25, 1944. Sister taught elementary grades at North Washington, Iowa; Holy Ghost, Dubuque; Hazel Crest, Melrose Park and North Riverside, Illinois. In 1993 Sister Margaret returned to Mount St. Francis due to ill health.

A casual visitor may not have suspected how difficult Sister Margaret's life journey had been the last seven years of her life.  Despite this, Sister Margaret, beloved by all, greeted each day with her sparkling eyes and ready smile.
