Mrs. Robert (Linda Whitfield) Kueter, 50, of Dubuque, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at home.

Services were held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Linda was a mother and homemaker.

Linda was born on September 24, 1947, in Dubuque, the daughter of James and Margaret (DeFontaine) Whitfield.  She married Robert Kueter on September 16, 1967, at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

She was a member of St. Anthony parish most of her life.  She graduated from Wahlert High School in 1966.

Surviving are her husband, Robert, of Dubuque; three sons, Joseph (Jennifer), of Anchorage, Alaska, David (Vivian), of Chicago, and Andrew, at home; a daughter, Amy (Paul) Yaklin, of Wichita, Kansas; two granddaughters, Morgan and Taylir, of Anchorage; her mother, Margaret DeFontaine Whitfield, and a sister, Mary Pauly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dubuque Food Pantry.
