In Memory

Kathie Lefler (Adams) - Class Of 1977

Kathleen Ann Lefler Adams passed away peacefully on December 8, 2020, 47 days after being diagnosed with glioblastoma. Her battle was short & vicious but our Warrior Princess fought hard & was very brave.

Kathie was born August 21, 1959 in San Francisco, CA to Norm & Marilynn Lefler; the 5th of 8 children.  She graduated high school in Duchesne, UT in 1977.

She met her soulmate, Gordon, on a blind date in Panama September 1978 when she was 19 years old.  They were married just 3 short months later on December 22, 1978.  She was a very devoted wife & the love shared between them is something truly special that anyone who knows them was lucky to witness. They enjoyed a wonderful marriage & were blessed with 8 children. They also took care of countless others & this led to most people simply knowing her as "Mom".  She also loved being a "Meemaw" or "Grammy" to her 18+ grandchildren. She shared a truly amazing relationship with her grandbabies.

Kathie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She was loved dearly by all who met her & had a smile you could feel all the way into your soul. She loved to sing & was very devout in her faith in the LDS church. She is survived by her loving husband Gordon, & their children Krystal, Jason, Joseph (Crystal), Todd, Kami (Micheal), Kelley, & Bryan, among countless others.

I remember Kathie in high school she had a wonderful laugh. I worked with Kathie after we graduated. She was a good friend. I remember her great personality and her loyalty as a friend.
My condolences to her family.
