Brian Pfeufer

I added a survey of who changed the least from the reunion pictures.

Brian Pfeufer

I just hung up the phone with Jon and he is not going to reveal anything until the next reunion...... Ooohhh Karen, we need to talk.

Giancarlo, Mrs.Morris said I had the "gift of gab" in 7th grade, and you said you were surprised to see me socializing with everyone at our mini-reunion. So bite me!

Holy Cr@p Brian! What did you do, run to the computer after hanging up. I am surprised you were not typing while you were talking to me.

Giancarlo thinks you were a quiet kid??? Was Giancarlo even awake before he turned 15???

11/12/08 03:53 PM #396

Brian Pfeufer

Jon, I think your boss can hear you typing, get to work!

Mrs.LaSala? I see you have updated your profile. Any pictures to upload? Any comments, it was great to see you a couple of weeks ago.

How many times can we submit an answer for the Looked the Same? Because there were plenty that still looked the same. I ended up choosing Theresa, but it was a toss up between her and Karen.
You guys are just too funny! Love signing on and reading the forum. You might not think it, but you all have great memories and great stories. Funny who would have thought back in '83 that everyone would be keeping in touch vie the St. Mary's grammer school forum! lol

Brian Pfeufer

You can vote as many times as you want but only one vote counts (first vote). I love logging on and reading what people are saying on the message board too. It would be great to get more people involved but we have a good little core group participating. I also know some people just read and don't comment, they are afraid that Jon will be rude. The site gets anywhere from 8 - 13 hits a day from people, I don't know which ones but they are logging in. Don't be afraid people you can say "hi", I promise Jon won't bite, he may try to cut your thumb off with a knife, but won't bite.

Colette, did you vote for who looked the most different?

11/12/08 09:04 PM #400

Colette Moloney (Mackin)

No because I didn't really think anyone changed that much. I was thinking of voting for Ann only because her hair is blonde now!! lol

Jon's just a big cuddly bear! His bark is LOUDER then his bite! Oh, I can't believe it was Karen Sullivan who had the nickname slugger. Would really love to know THAT story!

By the way, I'm not ruining anything since I didn't graduate with you guys, but by 1994 I was going to be married and living in Ireland. Well I married a guy from Ireland and we were going to move to Ireland but it just didn't happen. So the next best thing to Ireland is...Dumont! haha

Jon Pinto

"Oh, I can't believe it was Karen Sullivan who had the nickname slugger. Would really love to know THAT story!"

No, No, No Colette. Karen Sullivan was MUSCLES. Karen REILLY was slugger. Let's not add to the confusion. And as far as how she got the name, I wish I could tell you she got rough when we made out in the stairwell but I cannot. I have no memory of how she got the name. Ask her.

11/13/08 10:48 AM #402

Brian Pfeufer

Jon, that was Giancarlo in the stairwell, he told me about that incident when I saw him. Ahhhh the memories. Slugger? I don't remember that either. I can only remember Rob is Pud, Vinnie's dad would always call him snoop. Giancarlo is Carlo.

11/13/08 11:08 AM #403

Jon Pinto

Your right. It WAS Giancarlo in the stairwell. I was bombed on Ms. Eirmann's beer so it didn't matter. Why did Vinnie's dad call Rob "Snoop"??

Do you remember Rob running around naked at the raquetball club locker rooms trying to hug Vinnie?

11/13/08 11:16 AM #404

Brian Pfeufer

ahhhh, no???!!?? I think I missed the Closter Raquetball game that week.

11/13/08 03:26 PM #405

Jon Pinto

Then you succeeded where I failed. I have been trying to drink that memory from my mind ever since.

11/13/08 03:59 PM #406

Debra Slack

I am one of those people who love to read all these conversations. What was going on in the stairwells?? I missed all that action. I am shocked at what I am learning about my good St. Mary's kids.

Jon, I do remember Power Pig and his side kick. And I did NOT hate him!

11/13/08 04:50 PM #407

Jon Pinto

So what you are saying is that you hated Power Pig but not his sidekick. Right?

11/13/08 07:02 PM #408

Giancarlo Taliente

It must have ben some other Giancarlo in the stairwell. Or Jon'S WISHFUL thinking!!!

Sure wasn't me. That much I know

I must have been in church that day, saying prayers for the mis-guided in my class. I don't remember half or more of this stuff.

Mrs. Slack, most of these things I think went on after St.Mary's. Don't get me wrong Jon and his criminal mind were still at work at St.Mary's but never devolved fully until he went to high school. It was there that his mischievous mind blossomed, it is why I left Bergen Catholic, I started to fear my good catholic upbringing was becoming compromised. I basically fled in fear, moved to another town. The stories have been told he crashed a car at age 16 (no license) I was basically kidnapped in the car, left in the backseat. on another occasion Jon tried to cut off my thumb with a knife one day as I tried to counsel him. At that point I knew I could do no more for him and worried for my life. I decided to move on and just pray for Jon and his soul. I am glad my prayers have been answered and Jon is alive and I assume well.

Well, ...that's ONE version of what happened.

I find it ironic that my behavior started to drastically improve once I stopped hanging around Brian. I cannot deny that any of the things Mr. Pfueffer has mentioned happened. I can only share my perspective of those events. Yes, I did drive a car illegally at 16 and crashed it with Brian in the back seat. Did Brian mention that he forced me to do his bidding and coerce me into driving him past his old house? NO. Did he mention that he failed to give me adequate directions, and that he became belligerent and started screaming in my ear and caused the distraction leading to the crash? No. Did he mention that he drew a knife in my kitchen first and I had to wield a weapon in pure self defense and that the only option I saw for myself in preserving my life was to disable Brian by inflicting a small wound forcing him to drop his knife? No. Brian also mentions that he left Bergen Catholic for what he believes are altruistic reasons but he never mentions that I had the flee the state of New Jersey in order to insure the safety of not only myself but my family. Whatever medication the team of doctors that have been treating Brian for so many years seems to have done wonders!! I say up the voltage.

It is good to see that Jon has come up with some "defenses" over the years. The psch team must have been working "over-time" on you. I thought you were forced to leave the state? Maybe Giancarlo was right about you and your wishful thinking?

I will continue to pray for you!

11/14/08 09:35 AM #413

Brian Pfeufer

7 responses to the last survey, this one is a little more "cut and dry". One person is receiving the mojority of votes. I will see if others vote and than revel the answer on Monday. Talk to you later Jon.

11/14/08 04:27 PM #414

Giancarlo Taliente

Brian, now that I think about it, I do remember you praying a lot!!! Doesn't everyone think it odd that Brian never became a priest!!! HA!!!!! Brian the only prayers you ever uttered where for passing a test. You were the one that started us nipping at the wine as alterboys before mass!!

11/14/08 04:47 PM #415

Brian Pfeufer

I would pray to pass a test. Giancarlo, you got me hooked on wine. Everytime I was over your house for dinner you and your parents were drinking it. Do you deny that? I blame you, you started me on that stuff.

11/14/08 06:32 PM #416

Giancarlo Taliente

I was trying to bring you culture!!!

11/14/08 07:08 PM #417

Brian Pfeufer

Culture? Is that what you call drinking wine before mass and than going back to school for Mrs.Slack's english class?

Giancarlo, I got your voicemail, thanks.
