Chante Mantilla (Kubs)

It's always great to get on and read all your fond memories.............it sounded like a lot of fun...part of me wished i had hung out with you guys...except the car chashing and knife cutting......

11/15/08 06:55 AM #419

Brian Pfeufer

Me to Chante, that was Jon. I was just the victim. At that age we didn't hang around girls, to busy playing sports, games, movies, just having some fun with the boys. We only talked about girls, we didn't know anything about them and I don't think they wanted to be around us.

Jon Pinto

Are you kidding!!?? Brian could NOT take a hint. I tried to stab him, crash him in a car, alcohol poisoning, nothing worked to get rid of him so I could be around girls!!

11/15/08 02:52 PM #421

Brian Pfeufer

AAAAAAA HA! You now admit to it!

Anyway Jon, you admitted to kissing Giancarlo in the stairwell.

Chante Mantilla (Kubs)

The two of you are just too much..................Jon I'll bet you'll see some of you in your son...so be cool about it ;-)

11/15/08 07:55 PM #423

Brian Pfeufer

Yeah Jon, if he is bad be kind to him, you were a bad kid. I tried to help you but you were just to much.

Now to a family matter...........I went with Connor to his first B-Day party........I have no idea what I was expecting, but it was so cute seeing him interact and play....my son scored 113 in bowling-for his first time playing- and made 1 strike...not that I'm bragging.............

11/15/08 09:22 PM #425

Brian Pfeufer

It is okay to brag about your children.

11/17/08 08:50 AM #426

Giancarlo Taliente

Chante, 113 his first time? WOW!!! I've bowled a lot and have trouble making 113. Congrats to him. Hey Chante, don't you and Dina do this for a living? Can't y'all help Brian and Jon so their boys don't become a chip off the old block. I've met Brian's wife and I know she will be a calming influence, I can only pray that Jon married up as well (i know I did)

11/17/08 09:33 AM #427

Jon Pinto

'Carlo, the very fact that you are married at all indicates that you "married up".

...and if you think I am mean,...wait 'till you meet my wife!!

My son is actually a good boy most of the time. When he was two, however, he got in trouble at school for not just pushing other kids down, but then standing on their backs!!

11/17/08 12:14 PM #428

Brian Pfeufer

welllll look who crawled out from the stairwell, my backstabbing friend Giancarlo. Giancarlo, I bet you used some of mine and Jon's drinking techniques to lure your wife into matrimony, that can be the only explanation. The next day when she woke up in Vegas what was the look on her face?

11/17/08 07:45 PM #429

Giancarlo Taliente

Ahhh, Brian, Are you having trouble coping with my razor sharp wit??? I am the first to admit that I married up, but I still believe that I am not nor ever was the bottom of the barrel. I mean just because I wasn't as athletic as Brian or as pretty as you, Jon, I was pretty smart and an all around nice guy (that was an open invitation from any nice lady of the class of 83/84 to agree).

11/17/08 09:15 PM #430

Brian Pfeufer

Did you just call Jon pretty? I am now starting to wonder about that whole stairwell incident.

Carlo, are we now looking for compliments from the ladies? Oh my friend it is sad, very sad.

Your wit has improved since 8th grade, but anything would have been an improvement.

11/18/08 08:49 AM #431

Giancarlo Taliente

Are you kidding? After this forum, my ego needs a boost!!

11/18/08 08:52 AM #432

Jon Pinto

I don't think anyone has ever called me "pretty". I feel quite uncomfortable that it is coming from 'Carlo!

Speaking of which, digging for compliments from the girls? Really?? I think more people will remember that you made strange noises for no reason that were especially noticeable during silent reading. And let's not forget that you were caught, more than once, with your hand at your crotch!! I can see the ladies lining up now can't you? How about when you pulled your pants down for gym class before noticing that you forgot your gym shorts?? So suave a move, I wish I thought of it.

11/18/08 09:51 AM #433

George Ojeda

Jon is "pretty"? Giancarlo crawling out from the stairwell on all fours? Brian distracting Jon from the backseat, leading to a crash? Gym shorts being pulled down?

All you guys need is some lube and you'd be all set.

I do believe my sensibilities have been compromised since joining the forum.

George Ojeda

Congrats on Connor's score there Chante.

11/18/08 11:00 AM #435

Karen Reilly (Etelman)

OK, I'll take the bait - I have to agree with Giancarlo that he has always been an all around nice guy. How is the new job going?

Chante - Congrats to Connor. It sounds like his first birthday party was a great experience for the both of you.

11/18/08 01:24 PM #436

Brian Pfeufer

Nice guy = Giancarlo, I agree -100%.

Jon, you made me laugh out loud at my desk. George, lets get this straight - you were and will always be a big part of this!

....and Karen, you are killing me!

I also bowled with Giancarlo many a time and he is right 100 was a good score for him. The only thing he was worse at was roller skating at the RINK.

11/18/08 01:51 PM #437

Jon Pinto

I will have to fess up on this one. Giancarlo was better than me at roller skating. The one time I went with Brian, Vinnie and 'Carlo, after months of pestering me, I fractured my arm after about 20 minutes!

11/18/08 01:53 PM #438

Jon Pinto

...and if Giancarlo was not the "bottom of the barrel", who was?? My vote was Rob. Actually, my vote is STILL Rob.

11/18/08 02:26 PM #439

Brian Pfeufer

no comment on the bottom of the barrel, I am afraid I may get some votes!

11/18/08 04:46 PM #440

Karen Reilly (Etelman)

Are you fishing for compliments too? Well I'm all out of them for today!

11/18/08 06:08 PM #441

Brian Pfeufer

Me? I know not to ask this crowd for any compliments. I just hope not to get stabbed or run over by anyone, than I know I am doing alright here.

11/18/08 07:29 PM #442

Jon Pinto

Ok. I am not gonna fish for a compliment but I am going to ask everyone if they have any pics or drawings of Power Pig. Karen sent me a Pinocchio drawing I did and it was really funny to see, but I have NO Power Pig drawings at all and was wondering if somebody out there has at least ONE. Besides having a black mask, I don't remember what he looked like. I have been guessing. I mentioned this to my wife and my son overheard us and asked, "Who's Power Pig?". I had nothing to show him. My wife then said, "Well, how would you design him today?". So I went with that and now have been doodling pigs A LOT!! I may even show them to you guys. So,...just wondering. Let me know. Thanks!
