I don't have any here; I will ask my mom if she has anything "stored away". My guess is no, but I will ask. I can believe that you don't know what he looked like, seeing you couldn't remember he had a sidekick.

Jon, I have to admit I think it is great you are an artist. Someone with all that talent and love for doing what he/she is great at, congratulations. You were talented as a kid and even more talented as an adult, well adult in terms of age not mentality.

I haven't said this in a while but I am glad you all were in my life as a kid and maybe, hopefully as an adult.

Thank you very much Karen. The new job is OK, but would you believe that my first assignment screws up my Thanksgiving holiday. I leave for Warsaw Sunday morning (that's in Poland Jon). Jon you really did have admirable talent in art Jon. I went to your website and have seen that you are even better now. By the way, can yous still do that thing where you bend your ring finger the wrong way?

11/18/08 09:36 PM #445

Debra Slack

I will have to add my comments also.

Giancarlo- yes you were an all around nice guy and great student also.

Jon- you were extremely talented in art and always made me laugh with your sense of humor. I am glad you are doing something with art. I will have to check out that web site.

Brian- you were the all american kid!

I have such fond memories of all of you.

George- that dry sense of humor of yours made me laugh as well.

Jon Pinto

Wait......... . Some of you have NOT seen my website or my blog yet????????

...and thank you all. I don't handle praise too well but I do realize that I am blessed that I make my living doing what I do. And thank God for that because if I wasn't, I have NO idea what career I would be in! Maybe run a gym or whatever Giancarlo does.

11/19/08 06:46 AM #447

Brian Pfeufer

run a gym? Have you ever seen the inside of one? Please don't lump me with Carlo, it is bad enough I spent 10 years or so with that kid.

Jon if you didn't do that you would be working on the corner of 41st Street in NYC selling your old comics and playing passer-bys in chess.

Hi Mrs.Slack, it's good to see you are still checking in on us, now if you could get Pinto in line we could have some fun. He left his room in Washington by the way.

for anyone who hasn't seen or read, they should.

So 7 people voted on the "who looked the same" forum.

Therese had 4 votes
Karen had 1 vote
Colette had 1 vote
Giancarlo had 1 vote

What I find interesting is Karen and Giancarlo had votes for who looked the most different from the previous vote.

It appears as a class we can't agree, unless it's on Giancarlo being a PUTZ!

11/19/08 12:32 PM #449

Chris Anderson

Where's my vote for Rob for who looked the same?

11/19/08 02:21 PM #450

Brian Pfeufer

Never got one from you and we received another vote today for Karen so it is:

Therese - 4
Karen - 2
Giancarlo - 1
Rob - 1
Colette - 1

11/19/08 07:29 PM #451

Giancarlo Taliente

A putz????

I haven't been called a putz in 20 years... and figures the same guy who called me it so many years ago, is still using the term. I can proudly say that I am no longer a putz, ya big, bald knuclehead.

11/19/08 07:52 PM #452

Brian Pfeufer

Yes, you still are a PUTZ and I am a big, bald knucklehead, no argument here, my wife would agree. So would Jon and the rest of the class from St.Mary's and everyones mother and the rest of Dumont.

So there I am, innocently minding my own business, when I read that Brian joins the "Dumont Memorial Park" group on Facebook. "Hmmm", I thought, let me read about this a little more.

Then I find the reason why Brian joined.

Under "Future Events", there is an entry there that says the following:

Event: BLACK FRIDAY GATHERING
Type: Party - Erotic Party
Host:DUMONT MEMORIAL PARK
Time:Friday, November 28, 2008 at 7:00pm
Location:MADISONS PUB

So there you have it. Brian's rampant eroticism is alive and well, apparently still unchecked since the days of St. Mary's.

11/20/08 01:52 PM #454

Brian Pfeufer

Yes, I admit to joining the Dumont group on facebook. I know nothing of the party upcoming and can promise I will not be there. I do find it funny how George was "minding his own business" and happen to find out that I joined the Dumont group, do I have another stalker? First Karen following me to every bar I visited and now George becoming my "facebook stalker". George have you googled my name to find anything else out? I noticed a strange car parked outside of my house? I will be more aware of my surrounding for now on. Maybe you and Giancarlo can get together and form some kind of detective agency, maybe call yourselves dic and putz? What do you think Jon? They can walk around wearing trench coats and hiding in the shadows, solving airport capers. Where could that missing luggage be, lets see......?

By the way George has a blog as well.

George Ojeda

Awfully defensive there Brian. Hmmmm... :)

When you log into Facebook, your friend's activities (erotic or otherwise) appear on the main page there.

In this case, I would have wished Facebook kept me in the dark.

11/20/08 05:38 PM #456

Brian Pfeufer

Whatever, stalker!

11/20/08 08:17 PM #457

Brian Pfeufer

When you log on to facebook it does indeed say what you have joined, but you had to look deeper to find out that the group was having some party that you wish you were attending.

Maybe Vinnie and the cops in Dumont could use your detective abilities to solve other crimes? What do you think Vin.

Hi!
It's a been a few days and boy do some of you get out of hand............;-)
Thanks for your kind words of Connor scoring 113 in bowling.
I've been having a tough week at school and am trying to put into perspective a decision I had to do....I witnessed a staff member not treating a child appropriately and did what I had to do......my only fear is what the politics of the town or who you know will affect me.............This has disturbed me for 2 days

11/21/08 02:12 PM #459

Brian Pfeufer

Chante, I am glad to hear you did the right thing! At least you can feel good sleeping at night and not cowering down to the political machine. I applaud you! It's funny how as a kid you don't realize what goes on "behind the scenes", I guess that is one reason I loved St.Mary's. It was a time of innocent behavior and almost a "cluelessness" of what is going on around you. I hope everything works out for you Chante, just know that you did the right thing. I regularly attend town meetings and BOE meetings and I am often disturbed at all the underhanded goings on.

Now as far as some being bad on this forum, I agree - Karen is getting BAD!

Updating the two polls:

10 people voted on the "who looked the same" forum.

Kudos to you Chante. Alot of people wouldn't say anything for fear of repercussions. But the safety of our children (and many of us have them now)should always be in the forefront.

11/21/08 03:25 PM #461

Vincent Tamburro

First for Brian. We at the PD actually use facebook and all the others to keep a check on who is using and dealing drugs. These kids are putting pix on their pages of them with drugs, etc, it is amazing.

Chante: You did the right thing, no doubt. There will/may be a political price to pay. If you are a reader of The Record or Star Ledger, I was involved in an incident in Dumont where I arrested a Council Person for DWI. Not only did I but my family went through a nightmare for about 4 years. My only solice was knowing that I did the right thing and maybe even saved someone's life. You need to realize that you assisted this child in a way that may not be apparent today, but sometime in the future.

11/21/08 04:34 PM #462

Brian Pfeufer

George, Vinnie says you should remove those pictures, the cops are watching. Stop stalking me on facebook too. As for the "Erotic Party" at Madison's Pub, will the Dumont PD be in attendance?

Chante, I agree with everything Chris and Vinnie said. Keep your head up, you did the right thing.

11/21/08 04:50 PM #463

Vincent Tamburro

I hope it is not tomorrow as I am having my parents 50th Anniversary lunch there with 60 people. Maybe they are surprising me.

11/21/08 05:28 PM #464

Brian Pfeufer

SURPRISE!

Something tells me your dad wouldn't mind. Off to wrestling practice with the kids.

11/21/08 09:59 PM #465

Colette Moloney (Mackin)

Chante, you did the right thing! It's everyone's responsibility to stand up and do the right thing, no matter what the repercussions are.

Vinnie, I remember reading about the arrest and I thought good for Vinnie! But then came all the articles after, and I just felt really bad for you. You did the right thing, and you were being crucified for doing so and it wasn’t a private matter, it was splashed all over the papers. I have a whole lot of respect for you!!

11/21/08 11:48 PM #466

Vincent Tamburro

Colette, I thank you.

Thank you for your support, it helps tremendously.
Have a great and warm weekend. I'm off to shopping for the feast. I'm daring to cook the turkey this year..................
