School Story:
Just what a culture shock it was for me moving here and staying to go to school from the big town of St. Louis, Missouri. I had to ask, "What the heck is a pick-up truck?!" and seeing the chewing tobacco for the first time in a drinking fountain at school--whoa!! But the big one was driving down the street and seeing a bumper sticker that said Demon Power--I said, "These people are satan worshippers!!" Until I saw the giant demon with the pitchfork on the side of the school gym--then I really thought you people were half-baked! So I managed to get through my basketball games by quietly cheering...."Jesus Power!!" Well, we didn't win every time but it helped me have great high school years! Very blessed for all the great opportunities I got through the high school and through some special people. I really regret not having attended either of the reunions. Well, maybe next one!
