Backpacked through Europe after college.

Started a consulting business.
Moved to Dallas for a contract.
Moved to Boston for a contract.
Moved back to Austin.
Married in 2005 to my wonderful beautiful wife Christine Berthoud Valdez from Indianapolis.

Senior year we all suffering deeply from senioritis and I decided to give a speech trying to convince my classmates to join the "Society to Save the Jelly Bean". I was fine for about half the speech and then I completely lost it and was laughing so hard I could not finish the speech. Luckily the teacher took pity and gave me a passing grade.
