I took a year off, right after graduation, and moved to the suburbs of Chicago to be a nanny for 6 months. I attended Clarke College in Dubuque where I received my BA in Education. My first job was at Farley-Bankston (Seton) for 2 years. I then moved to Southwestern Schools in Hazel Green, Wi, where I have been for the last 23 years. In that time, I met and married my husband, Tom, helped raise a daughter and a niece and earned my Masters Degree in Education.
Tom works at Myers-Cox in Peosta, and we live in Dubuque. We are kept busy with grand children, nieces and nephews and my students (who are also my kids;)
