Michelle-16-will be a junior at Wahlert High School. She is also a track runner and loves to play tennis for fun. She is currently employed at Basket Expressions and also babysits 2 days a week.
Matthew-14-is going to be an 8th grader at Mazzuchelli Catholic Middle School. He is involved in football, basketball, track, choir and show choir. He is currently practicing for his many parts in the play School House Rock that will be shown at the Grand in Dubuque. He has 2 mowing jobs and a couple of snow shoveling jobs to earn a little money.

On November 24th, Leo and I became grandparents. It was very hard for us to accept as it is not what you want for your child at a young age. We have a beautiful grandson, Jayden Kern Stephens, who is now almost 3 months old. Carmen is continuing her education at Wartburg full time as well as being a mom and taking care of an apartment with her boyfriend. We pray things will continue to go well for her and that she will graduate in 2 1/2 years.
