Comments:
I began working for the Forest Service, as a Civil Engineering Technician, the spring of 1970 on the Beaverhead Forest in Wise River, Mt. In 1972 I moved to Kalispell, Montana and went to work in the Engineering Department of the Flathead Forest.
I met my wife, Wanda, in Kalispell where we were married in 1973. Northwest Montana was a great place to raise a family, we moved three times as our family grew, ending up South of Columbia Falls, where we will probably remain.
For many years I worked mainly in forest road construction throughout the forest. In 1988 I took the position of Road Manager for three Ranger Districts with an office in Hungry Horse Mt.
I remained in that position until my retirement in January of 2008.
I'm back working for the forest this summer, Administering some construction Projects.
