My family moved to Magnolia, TX summer 2009. I am the editor of the Centerville Journal, Centerville, SD. Gotta love telecommuting! Prior to our move I was the Lead Graphic Artist for Fireball Industries in Centerville, SD as well as the editor of the Journal and an assistant librarian for the Centerville Community Library.
Terry is the Director of Environmental Services for Pate Transportation Partners in Conroe, TX. He oversees the environmental aspects of the company's various projects including overseeing the environmental engineers, archeological surveys, and wetland studies.
We have two sons, Alexander Scott and Nathan Gabriel. Alex is 15 and a freshman at Magnolia West High School. Nathan is 12 and a 6th grader at Magnolia Jr. High.
Alex has a black belt in Songham Tae Kwon Do. He also plays football, basketball, runs track, and pole vaults. He also competes with the marching band. Alex is currently taking two pre-A.P. courses and Spanish as well as his regular course load. The summer of Alex's sixth grade year he was chosen as a Student Ambassador and toured Europe, including London and Paris, for two weeks with the organization.
Nathan was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 1/2. He has come a long way since those first years and we are very proud of the progress he's making. Nathan's Special Olympics basketball team won their division of the State Basketball Tournament in South Dakota last year. He is also competing in Special Olympics in Magnolia. They are currently in their bowling season. Nathan also goes horseback riding and swimming each week.
