I was initiated in February of 2002 at the Beta Iota chapter at Albion College. During the 2003-2004 academic year, I served as chapter president and created quite a bond with Gamma Epsilon's chapter president Dave Buhlman. When I graduated from Albion in 2004 and made the decision to attend graduate school at MSU, Dave encouraged me to become a collegiate brother at the institution. I took his advice and did so. I served Gamma Epsilon as both Vice President and Fraternal Choral Director in the 2005-2006 academic year. After graduating, I moved to the Grand Rapids area for a job working at GRCC where I assisted a brother by the name of Chris Reed to charter a chapter at Grand Valley State University (we worked from 2007-2009 on this). I then became a collegiate brother at that chapter for the 2009-2010 academic year where I served as Fraternal Education Officer.
