Laura Jane Plummer, 86, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born August 15, 1938, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Theodore "Teddy" and Emily J. (Garis) Belkey.

Her husband of nearly 63 years, Kenneth R. Plummer, passed away June 6, 2022.

Laura graduated from Easton High School, Class of 1956.

She had been a stay-at-home wife and mother. For many years she worked part-time delivering papers for The Express-Times.

Years ago, Laura had been a softball coach.

She was an amazing and wonderful grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Laura was an avid Mets fan and loved the squirrels.

Surviving are her five children, Mark Plummer and his wife Ann, of Bangor, Michael Plummer and his wife Carol, of Easton, Matthew Plummer and his wife Vanessa, of Columbia, MI, Michelle Fulper, of Bethlehem and Melissa Miller, of Phillipsburg, NJ; seven grandchildren, Michael and his wife Sheila, Megan and her husband Jason, Ashley and her husband Cameron, Carissa, Tristan, Madison and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Christine A. Buhrman, of Forks Township, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Belkey.

Services will be held at 10:30am Friday, July 18th in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Friday 9:30-10:30am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
