Charlie and I were not close freinds, but there was something about him that struck me as remarkable when I met him in high school. Among other things, he spoke in complete sentences-no expletives, no fleeting phrases and none of the attitudes that often defined our generation. Charlie didn't need any of those to connect with his peers; he fit in seemlessly. His humor, sense of loyalty, and committement created an atmosphere where being part of his team felt uplifting and emplowering. It is an understatement to say he will be missed by many.
Saying goodbye to an old schoolmate, is perhaps one of the most diffcult things to do. So I have tried to borow something appropriate by searching my books from Hemmingway to Frost and Kipling, from Cheever to LeCarre to find the words to say, to write, something appropriate. But there is just not enought time, not enough words to express my thanks and my sorrow. Anthony, you were a part of my life’s foundation, and I’m grateful for that. Rest peacefully. You’ll always hold a place in my mind and in my heart. Gli angeli ti aspetanno.
Patsy and I were classmates from Cottingham elementary through Easton Senior High school. Our encounters over those years, perhaps, would be considered seldom. The enduring friendship that was forged however, remains intact and eternal.
This is from Tom Bibleheimer I've known Woody since the 1st grade and he was one of the good guys who loved his family. He was a great friend to me even though I lived in Ca.What you saw is what you got and he was the best. RIP Woody. Tom Bibleheimer
Jim was my friend. Though I knew life would take us down different paths, being his friend was significant to me. I didn't know exactly why then, but over the past 80 plus years I can say I never met anyone like him. Jimmy was truely unique: friendly, gregarious, trusting; made you feel comfortable in any conversation. You couldn't help like being around him. Until we meet again...rest well my friend.
A divine soul with an endearing sense of hilarious humor. Her exquisite "library smell search" of the Wolf Junior High School library still brings warmth to my heart. The culprit was never caught. So, the mystery remains. But if you ever see me unexpectedly steal a smile during one of our high school reunion get-togethers, blame it on the fond memory of Delores and her unique way of spreading joy. Peace be with you my friend
A very nice funny gal. RIP
Richard
I knew you would make it. We over the hill guys are tough. Enjoy this day. I hope that we can maintain the living distance between us at least another year.
George
Met Larry at March School MANY years agp.
He and his wife Laura and I have remained friends all these years.
Larry would always call me, especially during football
season, and we would discuss the Sunday games.
RIP friend. You will be missed.

Kathy was a lovely gal and we both went to Forks Township Grade School. We remained
friends for many years. She along with other class mates use to come down to my
parents farm and help pick strawberries. I spent lots of time at Kathy's home as a
young person and she was so friendly and special. I always will remember how she took such
good care of her younger brother who had a disability. It was a different time and we had so
much fun even though we had lots of responsibilities. I do not remember who said it at
our graduation but I never fogot it. He said 'OUR LIVES WILL FLY BY" but we should do our
best in every way to enjoy our time. HERE WE ARE! Time does fly.
Fortunately for all of us Kathy came to Forks Township Elementary School in 5th grade. Can't imagine how a shy New Yorker could fit in with we Forks Farmers. She did not talk like a New Yorker. Although I don't remember her riding a tractor or working the soil, she was comfortable with a softball bat on her shoulders. From Forks through high school Kathy brought both good looks and grades. Unfortunately we did not have that in common. Kathy, rest in peace and we will miss you. George
I first encountered Kathy"s graciousness at Wolf Junior High when she congratulated me on winning the boy's division American Legion Award. Kathy was the runner-up in the girls' division. A difference in class schedules limited our conversations to a smile and a passing "hi" in the hallways. It was a casual, kind smile, a warm and friendly smile, an everpresent smile that, you know, brightens your day. I am sure she extended similar complements to Dorothy Palmer, who won the girl's recognition. Kathy had a special elegance about her. She refined that elegance over the years. It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart to learn of her passing.
My deepest sorrow and sincere respects to Charlie's widow. It was a pleasure and privilege to have known him. We grew up together and were lifelong friends. His wonderful skills and abilities, all the awards and recognition he received throughout his life never interfered with his affability and magnanimity. A number of years back we had lunch at a diner near his small home outside of Trenton, We talked several times on the phone about family, friends, good fortune, and bad. We fondly reminisced about the simpler times of growing up in Easton. Time slipped away too quickly. The pace of living and mundane circumstances of life muddled our priorities..We lost contact. Getting back in touch with my old friend, however, was always on my mind. Now, I will have to wait a few years more till we get together again.
Have a happy healthy birthday
George
