Joan Carr
I'm sorry to let you know of the passing of Joan Carr Allison on February 7, 2015. Joan died peacefully at Connecticut Hospice after living with Parkinson's for many years. My Mom actually passed last February 2015, so I'm sorry I did not let you know sooner. She specifically did not want a funeral and we did not prepare an obituary. My brother Carson and I scattered her ashes along with those of her late husband, Gordon Allison, on top of a hill in a Connecticut State park that she/they loved. The important thing is that she was loved, and she died peacefully. Attached is her high school photo. She went by Joan Louise Allison, although she was known as Joan Louise (Carr) Koch for many years. 💙

Joan was a lovely person. Always had a smile and a friendly manner when I knew her at Easton High. Lois DiLorenzo

So sorry to hear this. Joan was the sweetest person. She came to a few breakfasts at the Best Western, downtown Easton, and sat at our table. I also remember her coming to the 50th reunion and sitting at the table with Mr. Noto and other teachers. RIP Joan Carr Koch Allison.
