Janet M. Rush, 85 of Whitehall, formerly of Easton, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. 

    Born March 28, 1939 in Easton,she was the daughter of the late Elmer H. and Mary N. (Youngkin) Statler and wife of the late Dale H. Rush. 

She was a Registered Nurse at Gracedale Nursing Home for 37 years before retiring in 1998. Prior to that, she worked at Warren Hospital and Easton Hospital. 

Janet was a 1961 graduate of the Easton Hospital School of Nursing and was a choir member of the former St. Mark's UCC Church, Easton. She was a committee member of Boy Scout Troop #33, Bath, PA and a member of Rainbow Girls, Easton. She was a member of Forks UCC, Forks Township. 

She is survived by brothers, Alan Statler and wife Mary of Allentown, Timothy Statler and wife Beverly, of Freemansburg, and sister, Gloria Curtis of Maryland. She was predeceased by son, Daniel J. Rush. and brothers, Richard Statler and Thomas Statler. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Green Mount Cemetery, Route 248 and Broad Street, Bath, PA. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forks United Church of Christ, in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
