David D. Mazzie, Sr., “Pee Wee”, 86, of Bath, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, with his wife Wanda by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda, daughters, Dawn Mazzie and Davie Jo Schatz, son-in-law Christopher, and only granddaughter, Emily.

He is also survived by two sisters, Faye Merlo and Carol Brandle. He was predeceased by his son, Kyle, his parents, Nicholas and Sadie Mazzie, a brother, Nick Mazzie, and sisters, Mary “Dolly” Mazzie and Mae Snyder.

Dave and Wanda celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year. They enjoyed going on bus trips, football games, bingo, and to the State Theatre together. He was close with his daughter, Dawn, with whom he shared a sarcastic sense of humor and a special bond. His daughter, Davie Jo, who was named after him, gave him the greatest gift, his granddaughter, Emily, whom he loved spending time with and absolutely cherished.

David graduated from Easton High School and avidly loved all sports. That passion continued with him coaching football and baseball, where he was well respected for his dedication and development of the children on his teams. He was also a member of several social halls. Dave will be remembered for his sense of humor, his witty personality, and, for those closest to him, his big heart. We will always carry you in our memories and hearts.
