University Professor for 8 years, then directed Amity Institute, an international exchange program arranging native-speaking assistants for foreign language classes throughout the U.S. Have also been an elementary bilingual ed teacher in San Diego inner city school.
Trixie and I have been married for 15 years, and now live near my kids and grands in southern Washington State.
Just walking to school with Trixie through Putnam Park.
An extension of my high school hobby of folk music, I now play and sing professionally for many events, and for schools, nursing homes and retirement centers and occasional concerts featuring eclectic harp melodies from around the world, 50's-60's folk and humor (for an example of the latter, check the youtube link below.)
On our 3/8-acre lot we raised 1800 lbs of veggies in 2009, donating about half to a pantry serving the HIV/AIDS community. Going for a ton in 2010.
Serve on Master Gardener Tour Committee.

My kids and grandkids.
My CD, Robinson's Farewell, honoring the founder of the world folk harp movement with "melodies I would never have learned if not for Robbie Robinson."
I've served on the boards of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, Peace Resource Center of San Diego, and Camp Fire Council of San Diego, among others. Was leader of my daughters' Camp Fire clubs.
Was a delegate to the 2004 Democratic Convention.
