I met my husband at the U. of Wisconsin-Madison and got married in 1969. We have 3 children all born in a different state as we were transferred 3 times
Our son was killed by a drunk driver in 1993 while he was driving back to college in St. Louis.
He was 20 years old.
Our oldest daughter lives near by, is married and has given us 2 grandchildren.
Our youngest daughter is a museum educator for the U. of KANSAS - Dole Institute of Politics in Lawrence,Ks.
We moved to Oasawatomie. KS Nov. 2018 to downsize. My husband still enjoys to raise and show rabbits as a hobby. I love being retired since July 2013. I keep busy at home and with volunteer work.

Hi Charlene, I apologize for not responding to your post several years ago. I have not been on the website for several years ago. I retired from Madison Area Technical College in December 2010. Retirement is great. Turning 65 was also great. Hope you are enjoying retirement and your grandchildren.
