Needed Items
What We Need We accept most household furniture, small kitchen appliances (coffee makers, toasters, blenders, electric skillets, "George Foreman" type grills, etc.), dishes, flatware, food storage (i.e.: Tupperware (R)), cable ready flat screen TV's, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, etc. When electronic items are donated, we will require the recycling fee for First Choice Recycling. If the item does not work properly, we will recycle it. If it does work, the fee will be a donation to Sofas for Service.
Donated upholstered items cannot have had pets on them or have any tears or stains. We want to keep our standards high and uplift our Veterans. Also, some of our Veterans have allergies to pets. We could really use the following items which are currently in short supply at the warehouse:
We can always use monetary donations. Cash donations can be given for specific needs if donor desires (beds, gas, warehouse rent, etc.) Unspecified cash donations will be split by using 40% for new bed purchases and the remainder for general operating expenses and occasionally for special purchases. I.E.: we are currently in need money for new beds. We have no payroll, so 100% of your donation is used for the purpose of providing our "Veterans in need" with household furnishings.

or uppe Donation Guidelines Accent chairs You are welcome to drop off your donations at our warehouse on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (0930-1130 a.m.) or at other times by appointment. Call 715-309-9663 to arrange for drop off or pickup. If a pickup is needed, please have your donations on the first floor or ideally outside or in the garage on the pickup day. We do not move furniture from basements and/or floors.
