Mary Shelton passed away unexpectedly in her sleep July 26, 2016. She lived in Edina and is survived by her son David Tonti, sisters Nancy Shelton-Allen (Richard), Susan Shelton (Miles Malone) and Barbara Shelton, and countless family and close friends.

When she passed away, Mary was working as the school nurse at Normandale School in Edina. "Nurse Mary" loved her work and made lifelong friends wherever she lived. Her love of nature, sense of compassion and sense of humor have been passed on to David. We will miss her beautiful smile.

Memorials may be directed to the family who are establishing a fund for David.
