I don't know who can read this message, but I am crushed to learn that Irene is no longer with us. In junior high and high school, I considered Irene one of my very best friends. Not long after graduation from college, Irene moved away and was difficult to contact for a long time. I recently read an old letter from her mother updating me on her news. I have always hoped to get back in touch with Irene, but now I know it can never be. I hope she is resting in peace and had a full life. She was a beautiful soul.
