Carleton McCambridge

My oldest brother passed away last night. He was John Edmund McCambridge, but known to all as Mick. He was extraordinary, the head of our Irish Catholic family for many years. We are exceedingly proud of him. He served in the military as an officer and had many successful careers. He was once a strong athlete, but suffered subsequent declining health and eventual restrictions. I asked him hundreds of questions knowing someday the questions and answers would stop. Near the end I would ask him if I was his guy, and he would whisper, "absolutely." He had many friends and his family revered him. Good night Mickey, we will carry on, and I will find you.

I recognized him immediately.
I think his son was playing football for Edina.
