John Hammond

Graduated UW-Madison with Natural Resources degree. Worked in the golf business (extensive Braemar experience helped), advertising sales in print and radio, on-air talent and sports play-by-play at Waupaca, Wisconsin radio station for 11 years. Discovered my own musical and performing talent later in life; performing in church, barbershop, community chorus, theater and a few bands. Took a LONG time, but met and married the Love of my Life; together since 2018, married September of 2021. Been driving truck since 2016. Blessed to have decent work and a GREAT home life!

Made funny noises in class since elementary school, my classmates stopped laughing along with me around...8th Grade? (rightfully so!). So, I spent 3 years substitute teaching in 4 school districts in Central Wisconsin, dealt with degenerate class clowns just like myself...making me want to apologize to EVERY single teacher I ever annoyed in class!! But seriously, was gratifying to connect with and maybe even positively influence a few students..who were looking forward to 'easy blow-off' sub days.
