My friend Peter Gnam was a tough old bird but finally lost his long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He died December 8, 2016 at home surrounded by family and friends.

Peter went from high school into the Marines and spent considerable time in Viet Nam. He and I became friends in the Autumn of 1970 when he moved in to a home I was renting at the time with class mate Billy Flood.
After his retirement from DataCard, Peter and his wife Judy were respected Realtors for many years in the Edina area. They moved to Owatonna in 2005.
Peter is survived by his wife of forever Judy and two sons, Paul and Ben, as well as Ben’s wife Jennifer and their two beautiful girls.
Family and friends are hosting a “Celebration of Peter Gnam” on Friday, March 31 at Braemar Golf Course. Please come join us between 1:00 and 4:00 PM. There will be a short program at 2:30.

Pete Gnam was a trend setter in 9/10 grade. He and his buddies had Beatles haircuts and wore saddle shoes. They were cool kids!
